When Your Cupola Arrives
Most deliveries arrive perfect. But freight happens. Here's exactly what to do:
1. Inspect Before Signing
Check all packaging for damage with the driver present. Note ANY issues on the delivery receipt.
2. Document Everything
Take photos of damage, shipping labels, and the delivery receipt. Keep all packaging.
3. Contact Us Within 5 Days
Report concealed damage within 5 business days. We handle the claim process for you.

First Time Receiving Freight?
Freight delivery is different from package delivery. Here's what to expect:
How is freight different from UPS/FedEx?
Your cupola ships on a commercial freight truck, not a delivery van. The carrier calls to schedule a delivery window (usually 2-4 hour range). Delivery is curbside—the driver does not bring items inside.
What is liftgate service?
A liftgate is a hydraulic platform that lowers your cupola from the truck to ground level. Most residential deliveries need liftgate since homes don't have loading docks. We include liftgate service for residential addresses.
Do I need special equipment to unload?
No. The driver handles unloading to your driveway. Most customers move the crate with a hand truck or two people. The three-piece design means no single piece is unmanageable.
What if I'm not home?
Someone must be present to sign for delivery and inspect for damage. The carrier will call to schedule, so you can arrange a time that works. Redelivery fees apply if the appointment is missed.
